Untold Stories of Kindness

Summary

In “Untold Stories of Kindness” Sgt. Haibi found his true belief while serving in Iraq
as an army medic. The experience in Iraq showed him the truth from both soldiers and civilians. He
saw acts of kindness from both sides as will as acts of violence from them too. As a medic he helped supply clinics , school, relief centers, and hospitals as will as Iraqis helping by as much as giving tea and smiling at them. He witnessed insurgents detonated car bombs around the city that left many people dead and ravaged. It wasn't Iraqi guardsmen nor american troops that got hurt but it was innocent civilians that took the consequence and their blood shed all over the place. Many people say that Sgt. Haibi  is off and lost, but to him it's the people who fail to realize that by uniting they can stand against soldier and insurgents and believes that by accepting one another that we the people can transform war into peace.

Response

I believing people like Sgt. Haibi, who still has hope for humanity after witnessing mass distraction by them all towards each other. I also agree with the point he made about the innocent who are the victims of wars and the once left hurt and the once who rebuild what was destroyed by solider, insurgents, and politicians. We should realize that we can prevent any of that and conquer any corruption by unit before it happens.
